Bikini thug batters victim with meat cleaver at pub 'beach party' after online feud

A pub's 'beach party' descended into chaos when a thug battered a woman with a meat cleaver during an explosion of violence.

Dramatic footage captured the moment Karlene Muschette fractured her 34-year-old victim's skull during a beach-themed bash.

Revellers were seen chucking bottles as arms flailed about with many people dressed in beach-style attire as fancy dress.

Wolverhampton Crown Court heard that the pair had been involved in an online feud for some time before the party at the Dog and Partridge pub in Bilston on July 13, 2019.

In the video, an argument can be seen breaking out between two groups following a row between Muschette and the woman, Birmingham Live reports.

Ice and water bottles were then thrown before the violence escalated and Muschette ran towards the woman who shouted ‘leave me alone’.

A scuffle between the two women ensued and arms can be seen flailing as people gather around the warring pair.

During the fight, Muschette appears to hit the other woman with the meat cleaver before the crowd disperses.

Her victim tried to fight back but was left with a fractured skull.

Karlene Muschette was jailed for nine years (BPM MEDIA)

Muschette, of Hartill Street, Willenhall, claimed the attack was in response to ongoing harassment over social media.

The 38-year-old was found guilty of wounding and jailed for nine years at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday, June 11.

Det Con Craig Bathgate, from force CID, said: “This was a complex investigation which involved multiple witness accounts and historical allegations.

“However forensic evidence and extensive investigations have ensured that Muschette has been brought to justice for this brutal attack which could have resulted in far worse, and even fatal, injuries.

"It is right that she has received a significant sentence for her actions."
