THE MOTHER of an alleged Rebels bikie associate has pleaded guilty to supplying 2000 MDMA tablets at Aberglasslyn as part of her role in a large-scale Hunter drug supply syndicate.
Janine Faye Cowley, 60, appeared in Newcastle Local Court this week via audio visual link from Emerald Courthouse in the Central Highlands of Queensland and pleaded guilty to supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.
Cowley, who was represented by solicitor Cameron Duncan, was involved in the transportation of 2000 MDMA tablets in May, 2019.
She will be sentenced in Newcastle District Court next year. Strike Force Raptor North launched an investigation into the supply of MDMA and methamphetamine in the Hunter in November, 2018, and have arrested a number of people, including Cowley and her son, Leighton Scott Cowley, 35.
