Biker who said he would 'smoke' Nottinghamshire police officers stalls vehicle before moving

A man who tried to ride away from police on his bike said he would "smoke" officers stalled before moving anywhere. The biker who tried to outrun police had no insurance, licence, register plate and no helmet.

His attempt to ride away from officers proved unsuccesful, and the driver "stalled" before moving anywhere, the force said. In a tweet, Nottinghamshire Roads Policing said the incident happened in Warsop.

They posted a photo of the bike, alongside a text describing the incident shortly after 3pm on Sunday, November 6. The force said the biker managed to say that he would "smoke" officers before failing to ride away.
