Biker taken to hospital after Kingswood hit-and-run crash

Police are appealing for information after a hit-and-run crash in Kingswood.

Officers were called to reports of a collision between a car and motorcycle at about 2.50pm yesterday (August 28) outside the Black Horse pub in Two Mile Hill Road.  

An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesperson said: "The motorcyclist was reported to have a foot injury. The car failed to stop."

South Western Ambulance Service confirmed a person was taken to hospital.

A spokeswoman said: "We attended with an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle.

"One patient was taken to hospital for further treatment."

Police enquiries into the incident are continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 and quote log 585 of August 28.
