Biker taken to hospital after crash in Reddish

A biker has been taken to hospital after a crash in Reddish.

The crash happened at around 5.45pm this evening (Thursday) on Reddish Road.

A motorbike collided with a car, police said.

The biker was taken to hospital from the scene with injuries to their legs.

No further details have been released about the biker or how serious the injuries are.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing an air ambulance land near to the scene of the crash.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "We were called to a RTC between a motorbike and car on Reddish Road at around 5.47pm.

"The biker has leg injuries.

"They were taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service."
