His helmet sliding along the motorway as cars speed past his upended motorcycle, this is the heart-stopping moment a biker took a dramatic fall on the M6.
But miraculously the biker was able to get, dust himself down and walk away from the crash seemingly unharmed.
Pictures from the scene show how the motorcyclist tipped sideways smashing face-first into the road.
Both rider and bike then slide along the carriageway, thankfully avoiding passing traffic, which can be seen braking as the dramatic scene unfolds.
The biker, who was wearing a helmet and leathers, then gets up, pushes his bike over to the hard shoulder and takes out his phone to make a call.
A number of passing drivers appear to have pulled over to check if he's OK.
