Biker rushed to hospital with serious injuries after smash in Glasgow

Cops are appealing for information after a serious road crash in Glasgow earlier today.

Officers from Police Scotland and paramedics were called to the B808, Queen Margaret Drive at around 9.45am on Thursday.

A 23-year-old biker was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious injuries after a smash between a blue motorcycle and a Silver Vauxhall Vectra .

Cops are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with any information they have.

Sergeant Kenny Malaney, Glasgow’s Road Policing Unit, said: "Our enquires into the crash are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the crash but have not yet spoken to police to come forward.

"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dash cam footage that may help with our enquiries."
