A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital following a collision with a car in the West End of Glasgow .
Emergency services rushed to Queen Margaret Drive at around 9.50am after reports of the horror crash.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area with diversions being put in place.
The biker was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
Police Scotland tweeted: "Drivers are advised Queen Margaret Drive is currently closed in both directions between Great Western Road and Maryhill Road due to a collision.
"The road is expected to remain closed for some time. Diversions are in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible."
