A biker has been knocked down in Ayrshire this evening.
The A71 between Irvine and Kilmarnock, heading towards the latter, has been heavily tailed back as emergency services deal with the incident.
An eyewitness who went past the scene revealed the accident.
They said: "Accident at the junction headed for Kilmarnock at the Warrix Interchange.
"A biker is down, a lot of people have stopped, hope they're not too badly hurt."
A post on social media said: "Bad accident at the Warrix Interchange.
"Police and ambulance in attendance, traffic heavy on the roundabout."
Police Scotland have been contacted for an update.
