Biker hurled through the air in heart-stopping 110mph crash got up and walked away

This is the heart-stopping moment a British Superbike star cheated death in a horror 110mph crash – before getting up and walking away.

Luke Mossey escaped with just a hairline fracture in his tibia despite being thrown from his bike and flung across the track into the path of an oncoming rider.

Mossey, 26, went sailing several through the air as his bike spun around behind him while he was competing in a superbike test at Cadwell Park.

Incredibly his OMG Racing team mate Josh Elliot narrowly avoided crashing into him after the impact saw him slide at least 30m across the track.

Elliot himself crashed a few corners later as he could not focus after seeing his teammate in such a scary situation.

The footage, filmed by a member of the OMG Racing social media team, shows the dramatic moment Mossey is flung from the bike and fortunately lands flat on his back on the grass verge of the track.

The team member who filmed the footage said: “It was a bit of a heart-in-mouth moment.

“It was scarily close. Josh crashed off himself a couple of corners later as he was so shook up by it. He wasn’t right in his head to complete the lap.

“We were very concerned – we are a really close team, we’re like a family.

“Luke has a lot of friends and family members in the team and when something like that happens is it quite scary.

“I was quite lucky to see him get up straight away.

Mossey returned to the track in Louth, Lincolnshire, on Friday as a spectator just a day after the horror crash.
