Biker fighting for life in hospital after three-vehicle crash in Cheshire

A biker is fighting for his life in hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Cheshire.

The 20-year-old, from Allostock, was airlifted to hospital following the collision on Sunday.

The smash happened near the Three Greyhounds Inn in Holmes Chapel Road, Allostock, near Knutsford.

Two red and black motorbikes and a silver SEAT Ateca car crashed at around 12.45pm.

Police said the other motorbike rider, a19-year-old from Holmes Chapel, was also taken to hospital.

He is currently in a stable condition.

An investigation has been launched but no arrests have been made yet, a spokesman for Cheshire Police said.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information, or who has dashcam footage, to come forward.

Sgt Nick Rogers, of Cheshire Constabulary’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “Two young men are currently in hospital as a result of the collision, one of whom is in a critical condition.

“We are determined to establish exactly what happened and I urge anyone who witnessed the incident or anything else that may help our investigation to contact the team here at the Roads Policing Unit.

“The same goes for anyone who believes they have dashcam footage that may be relevant to the investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary on 101, quoting IML 495758.

Alternatively, details can be given online at https://cheshire.police.uk/contact/general-enquiries , or through Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
