This follows a similar incident in May, when another delivery person entered the Metropolitan Expressway by bicycle, which is prohibited by law, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

According to investigative sources, at about 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, a person in charge spotted a bicycle that appeared to be used for Uber Eats deliveries at a toll booth on the Shirokane main line of the Metropolitan Expressway No. 2 inbound road in Minato Ward, Tokyo.

According to police, the man entered through an opening in front of the toll gate. A police officer was called to interview the man.
