Bihar: Scribe's body found in pool of blood in Supaul

PATNA: The body of a scribe was found in a pool of blood at his poultry farm in Hulas village of Supaul district on Saturday morning. He was immediately rushed to the hospital after a worker spotted him lying, however, he died on his way to the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Mahashankar Pathak, who runs a poultry farm in Raghopur block. His body was found around 7am, when a daily wage worker Ramu reached the poultry farm and found the door locked from outside. He peeped through the window and saw Pathak lying on the ground. With the help of locals, he broke the door open and admitted the victim at referral hospital. After the first-aid, the doctors referred him to sadar hospital, but he died on his way to the hospital.

The relatives of the deceased have expressed apprehension that Pathak was killed by Guddu and Savita, residents of Chhapra, who used to work at his factory.

The police officials said that information has received that the couple Savita and Guddu stole and sold the eggs. “When Pathak got the information, he reprimanded both of them. To take revenge, they killed him,” the police officials said.

Supaul SP D Amarkesh told this newspaper that the man’s body was found at his poultry farm and both the accused in the case are absconding. “Savita and Guddu, used to work at Pathak’s farm. The victim was brutally thrashed by the couple on Saturday morning. He died on his way to the hospital. The police sent the body for post-mortem and conducting raids to nab the miscreants,” he said.
