PATNA: Miscreants posing as police officers allegedly looted Rs 70,000 from a businessman near Siswan Dhala under Town police station in Siwan district on Wednesday morning.
The victim was identified as Anoop Kumar Gupta, a resident of Usri village in the district. The incident took place at around 8.30am when the man was coming towards the city in his car, said Jai Prakash, SHO of town PS.
Basketball player’s friend kills self: After basketball player Lithara KC committed suicide in Patna, her friend also killed himself at his residence at Dwarakapuri in Danapur area. The deceased was identified as Avinash Kumar (35), son of Vijender Kumar., a retired army officer.
