A bigoted pensioner hurled homophobic abuse at a lawyer and his partner after he clocked them holding hands.
Peter Kerr branded Andrew McCusker and William Shankey-Smith "p***y b******s" and "bent".
The 76 year-old turned on the couple - aged 30 and 31 - as they were walking in the street in Shawlands, Glasgow in January this year.
Kerr continued his tirade before being held by police.
The OAP pled guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner aggravated by prejudice relating to sexual orientation.
Mr McCusker later slammed Kerr for his "hate and stupidity".
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard the men were together when Kerr yelled at them: "F*** sake."
Mr McCusker believed the comment was about him and Mr Shankey Smith holding hands.
The solicitor spoke to Kerr - but the pensioner sneered: "Pair of bent b******s."
Mr McCusker asked the pensioner to repeat himself, but was then so sickened he called police.
Kerr then made off while Mr McCusker was on the phone.
But, he still repeatedly hurled comments at the couple.
Prosecutor Hannah Terrance said: "Both men were in a state of fear and alarm.
"They believed what was happening was due to their sexual orientation."
Police soon caught up with Kerr, who continued to make jibes.
Miss Terrance added: “He was charged and made no reply.
“However, later that day he was discussing solicitor access rights and stated: 'Two guys kissing - what am I meant to say?'.”
Kerr, of the city's Pollokshaws, will be sentenced at a later date.
A disgusted Mr McCusker had posted on Twitter how he and his partner had been targeted shortly after the incident.
He said after the hearing today/yesterday: "His hate and stupidity in being vocally and unrepentantly homophobic towards me and my boyfriend led to his arrest.
"Glasgow does not tolerate hateful conduct. We do not walk away from prejudice - we stand up to it."
