Biggleswade paper campaigns to save bus services

The Biggleswade Chronicle has launched a "Save Our Buses" campaign after the local operator, Stagecoach, announced plans to axe several routes. The Bedfordshire weekly (circ. 10,808) has joined forces with the town's pensioners' association and two village protest groups who are outraged at the possible loss of the services, which Stagecoach say are no longer commercially viable.
