Biggest takeaways from Titans’ Week 12 loss to Patriots

The Tennessee Titans are limping into their bye (literally and figuratively) after a 36-13 Week 12 loss at the hands of the New England Patriots in Foxborough.

While the game wasn’t quite as lopsided as the score would indicate, it was still an ugly, mistake-ridden performance from the Titans, who simply couldn’t get out of their own way in every facet.

The bye couldn’t come at a more perfect time, as the Titans are struggling on both sides of the ball – especially on offense – and haven’t been able to overcome their injuries like they did earlier in the season.

For head coach Mike Vrabel, the Week 13 bye will be an opportunity for a reset for the team, both mentally and physically.

“It has a lot to do with mental health of dealing with injuries and dealing with things,” Vrabel said. “This is a good time for us all to reset and focus on this football team and getting healthy in all aspects.”

The Titans getting a much-needed bye week is just one of the biggest takeaways from the loss on Sunday.
