The Tennessee Titans looked dead in the water after a putrid first half in Week 16 that saw no life on offense, leading to a 10-0 deficit at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.
But things turned around drastically in the final two quarters.
A.J. Brown took the game over and carried his team on his back, and the Titans’ defense put the clamps on the Niners’ red-hot offense, allowing Tennessee to climb back into the game and win.
After the contest, head coach Mike Vrabel declared that the funeral many had pegged for his team was premature, saying “we’re not dead yet.”
“We had the funeral for the Titans,” Vrabel joked. “You know, it was yesterday or today. But we’re not dead yet.”
