Standing as the team’s No. 1 offensive weapon, without a close second, it has been said week in and week out that Washington needs to get the ball to McLaurin and watch him go to work. We’ve seen time and again that he is able to put up big numbers when given a chance, but his lack of work early in the games can directly attribute to Washington’s propensity for slow starts this season.
If Washington is going to have any chance of beating the Cleveland Browns this weekend, they’re going to need to take advantage of a somewhat porous Browns defense and find a way to put points on the board. That starts with getting the ball to McLaurin, early, and often.
