The last Friday of the month is perfect for a treat lunch in town - and the Bigg Market has you covered this week.
The street's monthly outdoor food market returns on Friday, with some of the best names in Newcastle street food signed up to take part.
Taco-kings Chucho's , Whitley Bay's Meze masters Papa Ganoush and sausage crafters the Geordie Banger Co are among the vendors confirmed to be selling their creations at September's Bigg Foodie Friday.
It will be the last Bigg Foodie Friday of 2019 too, although hopefully the market will be back next year.
Food will be served from 11am to 3pm. There is seating supplied, although some rain is forecast, so it may be an idea to order up and head back to shelter to eat.
