Bigg Boss OTT recently witnessed a family special episode where contestant Shamita Shetty's mother Sunanda walked inside to meet her daughter. Upon seeing her mom, Shamita burst into tears like a baby and continued to cry. Sunanda Shetty asked her daughter to not cry as it will make her also emotional. As soon as Shamita started speaking to her mom, one of the first things that she asked her was about her sister Shilpa and brother-in-law, Raj Kundra.
She asked, “How is she and jiju?” to which her mother replied and said, "All fine, everything is good in the outside world."
During the family round, the contestants were asked to be in freeze mode when their family members arrived. When Shamita's mother entered the house, she said, "Bigg Boss, please release my child, I need to see her.”
As soon as Bigg Boss announced Shamita's release, she ran towards the garden area to meet her mother. Shamita and her mom were separated through a glass wall keeping in mind the COVID-19 precautions. Shamita broke down and to boost her spirits, her mother informed her that everyone is proud of her and she is trending big time in the outside world. She also told her that fans are calling her a queen because she resides in their hearts.
Shamita inquired her mother about Shilpa, she said, "Shilpa is good, everyone is ok. She misses you a lot and we all are proud of you. She gets her daily updates from me when she is busy with her life. Just be happy and be who you are. Your instincts are so good. We missed a lot and I am not crying. You have to be stronger. I've seen you as a simple girl in the house, there was no air about you.. I am strong, you are strong and we have three strong women in our house."
For the unversed, Shamita Shetty entered the house of Bigg Boss amid troubled times in her family post her brother-in-law Raj Kundra's arrest in the pornography case.
