Electing the house captain has never been a cakewalk in the Bigg Boss house, especially when the decision has to be made by ‘aapsi sehmati’.
Something similar happened in the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT when the contestants were told to elect the BossMan and BossLady with 'aapsi sehmati'.
Following the history of not coming to an ultimate conclusion with mutual consent, the housemates decided to go by the rankings given to the contestant connections by matchmaker Sima Taparia.
After her entry and introduction with all the contestants, Sima was seen setting up the contestants with each other. And also gave rankings to the already made connections in the house.
As per the rankings allotted by Sima Taparia, Pratik Sehajpal and Akshara Singh, who stood at the first position having the strongest connection, won the captaincy and became the first BossMan and BossLady of the Bigg Boss OTT house. This means Pratik and Akshara will now be the acting captains of the house until another set of captains replace them.
The rankings given by the ace matchmaker had Neha Bhasin-Milind Gaba, Ridhima Pandit-Karan Nath, Shamita Shetty-Raqesh Bapat, Muskaan Jattana-Nishant Bhatt and Urfi Javed-Zeeshan Khan respectively after Pratik-Akshara.
Now, it would be interesting to see how the first BossMan and BossLady perform and if they have a successful captaincy.
For the unversed, Sima Taparia entered the Bigg Boss OTT house on August 10. However, she is still not a part of the house where all the contestants reside because she is still left to complete her quarantine period.
