shettyIn the recent episode of Big Boss 15, contestants were given an opportunity to talk to their family through video calls. But it had a twist. Each contestant had to pay a certain amount from the prize money to get the phone call. Fellow contestants Umar Riaz, Pratik Sehajpal and Rajiv Adatia took the option of giving the money and taking the call.
When Shamita Shetty was asked by host Salman Khan about her decision, the actress, who battled with her emotions all through the week and wished to speak to her mother, decided to let go of the opportunity. Shamita being the strong independent self, chose not to speak to her mother. She mentioned, "The prize money isn’t mine to give away like this."
This decision of Shamita has made her sister Shilpa Shetty super proud of her. The Bollywood diva took to her social media account and praised her sister.
She posted a picture of Shamita and wrote, “I am so proud of how gracefully you have handled the situation and yourself, my dearest tunki❤️. The way we have been brought up has given us the ability to value and be considerate of everyone around us. Makes me proud to see you take such a tough but honest decision selflessly. Love you my darling.”
Shamita Shetty has been showered with massive love and respect since day one and today she is definitely ruling the hearts of her fans. Shilpa has time and again appreciated her sister for her strong opinions and the way she has conducted herself on the show. She has been rooting and cheering for her Tunki (she fondly calls Shamita).
Apart from Shamita, Nishant Bhat, Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash also gave up on the opportunity of talking to their parents. Salman Khan had especially entered the BB 15 house to conduct the task.
