Big Time Rush singer Logan Henderson ended up in the hospital after injuring his knee during the band’s concert in Kraków, Poland. The 36 year old was performing near the end of the show on November 20 when he hit his knee and ended up with an open cut, according to TMZ.

Fans later noticed he was missing when the group returned to the stage without him and explained he had taken “a little fall” and was being checked by medical staff backstage.

Henderson updated fans not long after in a video he posted to his Instagram Stories, which the band also shared. “Sorry, I couldn’t stay to finish,” he said. He explained what happened in a calm and almost joking tone, saying, “I was having a little too much fun, so I hit my knee pretty bad and had to get taken to the emergency room.”

He let everyone know he was “doing okay,” would be getting stitches and expected to make a fast recovery.

He did not mention whether he would be able to perform at the group’s upcoming shows in Prague and Berlin, which left some fans wondering how the schedule might change. Still, his message made it clear he was in good hands and feeling optimistic despite the unexpected detour.

Big Time Rush, which includes Henderson along with Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow and Carlos PenaVega, is currently on a global tour. The band originally became popular in 2009 through their Nickelodeon series, and their comeback shows have drawn enthusiastic crowds who grew up with them.

The sudden accident added an unexpected twist to the tour, but Henderson’s quick reassurance helped settle worries as fans waited to see how soon he would be back on stage.
