
True Move, AIS and Dtac have collected bidding documents for the auction of the 1800MHz spectrum scheduled for Aug 4. Three licences will be auctioned.
Representatives from the major three mobile operators on Tuesday went to the The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) to pick up the papers.
Bids are due on June 15. The NBTC will then consider the qualifications of bidders between June 16 and July 31, and announce those who qualified by Aug 2.
The auction has been set for for Aug 4.
There are a total of 45MHz of bandwidth available on the spectrum, which will be divided into three slots, each of 15MHz. The reserve price is set at 37.45 billion baht, with 75 million baht increments. The bid guarantee is set at 1.87 billion baht, Thai media reported.
