Big the Musical set to open in West End with Jay McGuiness in iconic Tom Hanks role

A musical adaptation of movie classic Big will open in the West End this year.

Jay McGuiness will take on the role made famous by Tom Hanks in the 1988 film, having first starred in the show in 2016 at Theatre Royal Plymouth.

The film tells the story of 12-year-old Josh, whose wish to be big comes true when he ends up in the body of a 30-year-old. The film features the now iconic scene where Josh plays a giant walking piano.
