If you're crazy enough to wager on sporting contests, the key is knowing just the right amount. Not too little, not too much.
My best bet last week probably would have been Duke plus 4 at Northwestern. Why? Because I watched almost every play of Illinois State 9, Northwestern 7. The Wildcats would have made potpourri stink.
So what happens against Duke? Northwestern wins by 11. And I go 7-1-1 in the other games, none of which I knew as well.
