Okay, here we go for week two. Who gets to beat their chest and gloat over the battle for prediction supremacy with our contributors? Last year, Brent Reeves took the title, but he’s gotten out of the gate like an injured thoroughbred. Can he pick it up, and more importantly, can the whole crew do better against the spread than week one?
Yowza.
We’ll start by focusing on every Big Ten game both straight-up and against the spread early on, but as things get rockin’ to a full conference slate, we’ll also throw in our “pick six” biggest national games of the year.
A a reminder, if there’s an *next to the pick, that means the team will win, but not cover.
INSTRUCTIONS: Make your pick against the spread. For example …
– If you think Ohio State will win -3.5 over Michigan: OSU
– If you think Ohio State will win outright: OSU
– If you think Ohio State will win, but NOT cover: OSU*
– If there’s a tie, George Washington settles it via the ‘ole quarter coin-flip.
