Big Ten announces new forfeit rule for teams that cannot play due to COVID-19

The Big Ten conference has announced some new rules for the upcoming season.

This year, if a team cannot play due to COVID-19, they will be forced to forfeit the game. If both teams cannot play, it will be called a ‘no contest.’
