Big surprises in latest updated Giants’ 53-man roster projection

We are now three-quarters of the way through the 2019 NFL preseason, and the regular season is just around the bend. With only one exhibition game remaining, the New York Giants have gathered just about all the data they’ll need for much of their 53-man roster.

That’s not to say some depth positions aren’t settled, however. There are still deep positions to be won on the Giants’ roster, which will be settled next Thursday night against the New England Patriots.

Just how much will change remains to be seen, but for the time being, a good amount of the roster appears set.

With wide receiver Golden Tate going on the suspension list to start the season, cornerback Sam Beal still not on the field and rookie offensive lineman George Asafo-Adjei dealing with a concussion, they all got left off of our latest projected 53-man roster. But they weren’t the only surprises.

Take a look at the below gallery to see who we have pegged for all 53 Week 1 spots.
