Manchester United fans are daring to dream after a video clip filmed at their Carrington training ground emerged showing Erik ten Hag in deep discussion with James Garner.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest and played a key role in their successful campaign which resulted in promotion. Garner is now back with United and will be hoping to make an impression on Ten Hag during their impending pre-season tour.
It remains to be seen whether the youngster will be afforded a chance at Old Trafford next campaign, with Ten Hag desperately trying to upgrade his midfield options. However, eagle-eyed United fans have spotted an exchange that they believe suggests Garner will be a part of the Dutchman's plans.

Ten Hag was seen taking some time out to discuss matters with Garner while the rest of his teammates continued with the session. Needless to say, United supporters have been donning their private investigator caps and have conjured up a theory that plenty of fans on Twitter seemingly agree with.
