The ex-England manager admits he was “disappointed” he was painted badly during a job he put his heart and soul into, helping to raise £380,000 for Comic Relief.
Sam took part in Celebrity Apprentice for Red Nose Day, and was left dismayed by his unfair portrayal after Rylan Clark-Neal branded him “fantasy football” when the boys’ team lost their cabaret challenge.

“I thought they really took out a huge amount of input I gave,” says Sam, who ended up in the bottom three but managed to avoid a firing from Lord Sugar.
“Rylan didn’t stitch me up - they did with the editing. The editing was, I thought, extremely poor."
Sam spoke as he attended the launch of two helicopters for The Children’s Air Ambulance at Lambeth Palace alongside the Duke of York on Wednesday.
