'Big oaf' road rage driver revealed after clip shows him brand coach driver 'f****** scum'

A foul-mouthed motorist filmed in a furious road rage rant at a coach driver has been identified - and he's not happy the clip has been widely shared.

The driver - named as Martin Weaver - was seen branding his rival "f****** scum" and telling him to "get a proper job".

The video was taken in Warrington, Cheshire, last Saturday - and shows a 15 minute stand-off between the drivers, who refuse to back down.

Mr Weaver, wearing a grey 'Fast and Führerious' t-shirt, brought traffic to a standstill after refusing to give way to the coach.

Five cars can be seen queuing behind the coach during the 15-minute standoff as both drivers refused to back down.

His customised licence plate appears to spell the words 'Big Oaf'.

Mr Weaver told The Sun he is consulting lawyers.

He said: "He cut me up and I can prove that, I’ve done nothing wrong and I can prove that.

“They put my number plate all over the press. That’s completely wrong and I think it’s against my human rights."

The irate motorist also said he could produce witnesses to testify that the coach driver cut him up.

The Sun also reports that former colleagues of Mr Weaver described him as an "awful individual", but did not identify who they are.

In the clip, VW driver Mr Weaver exits his car and launches an explicit rant through the coach window at the stunned driver.

When the coach driver asks, "Why are you being abusive?" he replies, "because I can be" before bragging about his "£40,000 car".

The coach driver, who works for a company called LMTravel, then asks what a proper job is, to which the other man replies "my job", before saying that he owns his own business.

The standoff eventually comes to an end when the coach driver backs up and makes way for the furious motorist.

The man who took the video can be heard pleading with the men to bring the ordeal to an end, adding that he has children in his car.

Social media users jumped to the defence of the coach driver, whose identity is not known.

Posting on Facebook , Matty Sim wrote: "What an absolute sausage just move your car and calm down before your your blood pressure and cholesterol rockets."

Daniel Tse said: "Just let the coach driver through!

"Poor guy is just trying to do his job on over crowded roads and much harder to manoeuvre than a quick reverse by the car!"

Carly Mortlock added: "You are not the centre of the universe no matter what you drive."

Lee Marsh, who owns LMTravel, said: "Our driver handled the situation brilliantly, we're really pleased with the way he dealt with it.

"He was professional despite the behaviour of the other driver.

"Common sense should tell you that the Volkswagen should have backed up and let the coach go.

"He has made himself look like a bit of a fool to be honest."

Others have dubbed the man new 'Ronnie Pickering' who gained the notoriety in 2015 after footage of his clash with a moped rider went viral.

In the clip, he shouted ' Do you know who I am? I am Ronnie Pickering ' from his red Renault Clio.
