Big Nate Laugh-o-Rama by Lincoln Peirce - review

Lincoln Peirce, Big Nate: Laugh-O-Rama

I LOVED Big Nate Laugh-o-Rama because it was full of comics, little mini-comics and magic boxes and other things.

Big Nate Laugh-o-Rama is kind of like World of Norm, may need filling in because it is a puzzle, crossword and activity book. I like this one much more because Big Nate is a comic whereas The World of Norm is a series of novels, and Big Nate is really funny with awesome drawings.

Nate is a slob who spends more time trying to think of ways to avoid work than he spends time trying to actually do the work! He hates school, and his least favourite teacher is the evil MRS GODFREY, the queen of detention.

My favourite Big Nate characters are Gordie, Nate's big sister Ellen's boyfriend, and Mr Rosa, Nate's art teacher. I like Gordie because he teaches Nate how to draw caricatures of people, and Mr Rosa because he loves cartooning as well, as I do.

I recommend Big Nate Laugh-o-Rama to Calvin and Hobbes, World of Norm and Peanuts fans and rate it 9 and one third out of ten (higher than World of Norm: May need Filling In!).
