Big Narstie presented the weather on Good Morning Britain and viewers loved every minute

It looks like Alex Beresford's job might be in trouble after Big Narstie delighted Good Morning Britain viewers with his interpretation of the weather today.

The likeable rapper appeared on the ITV show this morning and delivered the forecast with the weatherman at his side.

But he certainly didn't stick to the script - and left both Piers Morgan and viewers in hysteric with his interesting interpretation.

Gesturing to the South East, he said: "See all down there? Blitz creek. Double up, double up, double up."

Talking about the midlands, he told told pet owners to beware: "They're be getting bare mud in your yard."

"Edinburgh? Peak times. Highlands? A bag of snow," he said, prompting Alex to burst into laughter.

He then said: "Please dress appropriately for the weather, and ladies and kids dress warm.

"The flu is killing us. The flu is out here to get us. So Lemsip and warm clothes."

And viewers loved it.

One tweeted: "Big Narstie is a national treasure. Absolutely hilarious guy."

While another commented: "#GMB big narstie for weather man on GMB that was TV gold made my morning."

A third wrote: " I could hear Big Narstie doing the weather on GMB. Had to get out of bed to watch. Brilliant! “London we’re dealing with a 7 down here! The flu is killing us!” @bignarstie @GMB #GoodMorningBritain."

Fingers crossed he'll return soon...
