Big-name Party at the Park is halted

Organisers of Perth’s upcoming Party at the Park festival have postponed the event as a precaution against COVID-19.

The music festival was scheduled to take place on the South Inch over the weekend of June 27 and 28.

Big names such as indie favourites The Charlatans and Embrace, as well as Hot Dub Time Machine, Scouting For Girls, Gun, Tide Lines, Skerryvore, Toploader and the Lightning Seeds, were lined-up to grace the inaugural event.

But now the organisers, who also manage Party at the Palace in Linlithgow, say that tickets will be valid for the rescheduled dates and full refunds will be available.

More information on a new date for the mega music gig is to be revealed within the next couple of weeks.

A festival spokesperson said: “We are endeavouring to rearrange the date of the event and we ask you to bear with us while we try to arrange this.

“Once a new date has been announced, you will then be given the option of keeping your tickets for the new date, swapping to another festival or a full refund.”
