The big day has finally arrived for McDonald’s fans as breakfast returns to the menu in restaurants across the country.
Today, July 8, McDonald’s breakfast is back in all but 28 sites in the UK, with a limited menu.
Fortunately for us, every restaurant in Liverpool will see the return of the famous dishes this morning.
While it will be with a reduced menu, iconic items such as the Sausage and Egg McMuffin and Hash Browns are back.
Not included in the menu are McDonald’s breakfast wraps, bagels or porridge.
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “We have seen such a brilliant reaction to breakfast in the first 42 restaurants, the return of the McMuffin is proving incredibly popular. Our menu will still be limited, we will unfortunately not be serving bagels, wraps or porridge for now.

“Our opening hours continue to vary, the quickest way to check your local restaurant will be via the My McDonald’s App, where new users can also get a free coffee upon registration.”
With more restaurants across the country opening their doors today too, there are now just 92 or McDonald’s 1,421 UK and Ireland sites to reopen later in the year.
