Big Macs, Beckham and Squishmallows: McDonald’s goes all in on the World Cup

  • McDonald's is launching a limited-time promotion at participating U.S. restaurants this month in anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
  • Adult meals, available since June 4, include a choice of Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets with special Big Mac Sauce, and breakfast orders receive a soccer-themed freebie.
  • Customers ordering these meals will receive one of nine collectible cups featuring Grimace or soccer icons like David Beckham and Christian Pulisic.
  • Starting June 9, FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meals will offer one of 23 Squishmallows plushies, including three representing host nations Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.
  • The promotion is expected to run until mid-July, coinciding with the end of the World Cup, or while supplies last.
