Big Little Lies season 2 finale twist may have been spoiled by Shailene Woodley

Could a huge twist regarding the Big Little Lies finale have just been revealed?

One of the stars of the hit HBO series is Shailene Woodley who plays troubled Jane Chapman, and the actress appeared on US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live and discussed what to expect from the seventh and final episode of season 2, entitled I Want to Know.

Shailene Woodley revealed: "In the beginning of the [finale]… all the women go to visit Perry’s grave, and his body’s missing.

"So there you go. That's the beginning of the next episode, so you still have an hour to figure out…."

That's certainly a shock revelation to tease us with!

Fans of the series know that the villainous Perry Wright ( Alexander Skarsgard ) was killed off at the end of season one by Bonnie Carlson (Zoe Kravitz), just as he was assaulting his wife Celeste (Nicole Kidman) once more and the leading ladies realised he was also the rapist of Jane.

The second season has focused on the ladies hiding the secret of how Perry died as his mother Mary Louise Wright (Meryl Streep) seeks answers and also to win custody of his children from his wife Celeste.

The finale trailer has teased Celeste turning the tables on Mary Louise, but could a shock twist see Perry be not dead after all?

Or has his body been exhumed in light of new evidence?

We expect a few shock twists in the season finale of Big Little Lies.
