The Big House Clearout presenter is a big fan of Gloucester Rugby and briefly considered a career in the sport growing up.
The former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star has also previously coached a team packed full of internationals in a hybrid rugby league and rugby union clash.
It's fair to say Knowles knows a good player when he sees one, and he believes Ulster Rugby's latest signing is one of the best.
Ulster announced the capture of World Cup winner Duane Vermeulen on Thursday.
The Springboks star has joined the province on a two-year deal and will meet up with the squad following the Autumn internationals.
Knowles reacted to the signing on Friday, tweeting: "That’s a hell of a signing - off to check your home game dates."
South Africa play Wales, Scotland and England during the Autumn internationals. All three games are in November.
Vermeulen will link up with his Ulster teammates after the series is over.
