Big hearted schoolgirl raises £1000 by going for the chop

A little girl went for the chop to raise an amazing £1000 for charity.

Chloe Drysdale (8) decided to have 15 inches cut from her long hair to help children who have lost theirs because of illness.

The Toronto Primary School pupils said she was delighted to donate her hair - and over £1000 - to the Little Princess Trust.

The charity makes wigs using donated hair for youngsters who are undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments.

Her mum Jacqueline, dad Greig and sister Amber are all extremely proud of Chloe.

Greig said: “She saw an advert on social media about the Little Princess Trust then decided she wanted to do it.

“She’s eight years old and just a selfless wee super star. She will do anything to help anyone.”
