Big hearted primary school pupils in Wishaw raise cash for UNICEF

Pupils at a Wishaw primary school raised cash for a global children’s charity before they broke up for the summer holidays.

St Thomas Primary children and staff had been working towards their UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award throughout the school year.

St Thomas teacher and UNICEF coordinator Pauline Campbell said: “Everyone has been working hard to achieve the award. Following the Soccer Aid game, in aid of UNICEF, pupils decided to raise money by holding a Beat the Goalie competition which raised £113.”
