'Big guns on the bench' - Leeds United fans ask questions of Tottenham Hotspur team selection

Leeds United fans have voiced their concerns after Marcelo Bielsa named an unchanged line-up to face Tottenham Hotspur.

The Whites are unbeaten in home matches against the 'big six' but supporters have been left disgruntled by a lack of alterations from Bielsa.

Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha return to the matchday squad, whilst Rodrigo Moreno and Ian Poveda are both named on the substitutes bench despite a clamour for them to start.

Raphinha hasn't featured for Leeds since a 2-1 win at Manchester City last month, whilst Phillips missed last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Instead, it's Robin Koch, Tyler Roberts and Mateusz Klich in midfield, with Stuart Dallas once again proving his versatility by playing on the right-hand side of midfield.

However, supporters have argued that Leeds' bench is stronger than the starting XI, with confusion over why Bielsa has persisted with several players out of form.

Liam Cooper misses out with an injury after completing a three-game ban for his red card at the Etihad, with Bielsa confirming the defender has a gluteus issue.

There is consistency in the defence again, with Illan Meslier protected by Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente, Pascal Struijk and Ezgjan Alioski.

Bielsa confirmed this week that Helder Costa's back injury has ruled him out for the final games of the season.

"He won't be able to compete again this season," said the Leeds boss in his pre-match press conference.
