Big changes at the top of this week’s Amway Coaches Poll

It was an exciting week of college football and the Amway Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY, is a direct reflection of that.

LSU is the new No. 1 after knocking off former No. 1 Alabama. Ohio State has also moved up from No. 4 to No. 2. Clemson stayed put at No. 3 and Alabama dropped to No. 4. After that Georgia, Oregona, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Utah and Baylor round out the new top ten.

Penn State was a big dropper after losing to Minnesota. The Nittany Lions fell six spots after the defeat.

Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Michigan is ranked No. 14, Wisconsin in No. 15. Iowa dropped to No. 22 and INDIANA IS RANKED. The Hoosiers are the new No. 25.

Michigan State does not exist in the same universe as the Amway Coaches Poll.
