Big change to Tesco Clubcard scheme coming as key partnership set to end

Money saving expert Martin Lewis has warned customers that major changes are on the way for Tesco Clubcard points.

From January, Tesco is changing what shoppers can spend their Clubcard points on as it ends its partnership with Now TV.

At the minute, Tesco customers can spend their Clubcard points on Now TV credit with it tripling in value - 50p to £1.50 in Now TV credit, for example - reports KentLive .

However, from January 31, 2021, the deal will no longer be offered by Tesco, meaning shoppers won’t be able to exchange Clubcard points for the credit.

The credit that Tesco customers have previously spent Clubcard points on will still be valid until the expiration date supplied in the email sent when exchanged.

Before this deal, there was nothing else of this value for a streaming service available to exchange Clubcard points for.

Other Clubcard boost offers which will triple your points' worth include Cineworld, Goldsmiths vouchers, railcards and magazine subscriptions.
