A big cat is on the loose in a rural village as grandparents film their terrifying encounter with the "panther".
Shocking footage appears to show a panther-like beast stalking through a field near Eddie and Susie Williamson's home on Monday.
Eddie and Susie, who have four kids and three grandchildren, claim they spotted the big cat from their bedroom window at about 2.30pm.
Eddie, 52, claims he zoomed in on it through a pair of binoculars - and it looked like a man-eating panther.
He said: "If I had been walking a dog and come across that I would have been worried, let's put it that way.
"I wasn't scared because I was upstairs in my bedroom but I did think about the kids because they come home out of school at 3pm.
"It's definitely panther looking, it is not a tortoiseshell cat."
The couple who live King's Lynn, Norfolk say they spotted the animal in the afternoon.
Eddie, who is unable to work due to medical reasons said: "It happened at about 2.30pm yesterday and we saw it from our bedroom window which looks out onto fields.
"My wife said: 'Look out the window, there's a big cat walking along the side of the field!'
"I thought she was messing around so I got up to look and it was huge.
"I got my binoculars out and I got a close up and it definitely wasn't a domestic cat.
"I could see it's tail, it was quite thick and long and had a hoop in the end.
"The closest thing I would say to it is a panther.
"I have seen a panther in a zoo and that's the closest thing I would say to what it was.
"It was black, a proper good sized cat."
The couple did not report the sighting to the police.
Eddie added: "We didn't think about it, really. We just brushed it off and put it on Facebook."
He suggested there are lots of pheasants and deer living nearby for the alleged panther to feast on.
Recent figures show that big cat sightings have actually tailed off in Norfolk.
A Freedom Of Information Act request has revealed Norfolk Constabulary received 96 reports of big cat sightings between 2010 and 2020.
The peak year for sightings was 2013, when there were 19 reports, but just one person called police last year to report a big cat.
