Kate Lawler has enlisted the help of a night-time nanny after sleepless nights with her newborn became 'too much'.
The former Big Brother winner welcomed daughter Noa with her fiancé Martin in February and has been updating followers of her social media accounts on the highs and lows of new motherhood.
In her latest post, Kate revealed that she has hired a night doula because of 'sleep deprivation' – and they don't come cheap.
The job of the overnight nanny is to monitor the newborn as they help the parents get more sleep.
"I'm going to hit the hay soon because our night doula Siobhan is going to be here," Kate told fans after accepting she had been left feeling exhausted.
"Every time she comes we promise ourselves we're going to go to bed at 9.30pm and we don't. We go to bed at 11."
A night doula can cost around £140 a night but clearly Kate, 40, feels hers is worth every penny.
It has not been easy for the reality TV star, with multiple hospital visits for the little one and Kate admitting her own personal struggles since becoming a mother.
She spoke previously about the baby's crying and talked candidly about her struggles.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Kate said she wished she found the job of motherhood easier.
Telling her 327,000 followers that life hasn't been easy, she received plenty of support.
She wrote: "Noa is two months old today! it was also one of the hardest days for us so far. She cried constantly. Hardly slept. Feeding was stressful both boob and bottle."
Why is it every time you think you've turned a corner, you have a really bad day? She still smiled at us. Made us laugh but also things really got to me today.
"The pressure to have a routine for her to be sleeping more. it makes me feel like a bad parent because we aren't there yet."
Kate admitted: "Still wishing I found this job easier and felt happier. Thankfully I have the handsome who has sent me to bed and is staying downstairs with her until 2am I should get some shut eye."
