Big Brother's Grace and Mikey Dalton - Where they are now from wedding to kids

Grace Adams-Short and Mikey Dalton met for the first time 16 years ago, when they were picked to appear on the hit Channel 4 reality show Big Brother.

The seventh series of the hugely successful show aired in 2006, and launched the careers of Glyn Wise, Imogen Thomas, Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace and Nikki Grahame, who sadly died in April last year.

Pete Bennett was crowned winner, and took home the grand prize of £100,000, much to the delight of the millions of viewers at home.

Series seven also saw the beginning of budding romances between the contestants, with Pete and Nikki developing feelings for each other, as well as Grace and Mikey, who coupled up while in the house.

Grace was unfairly given the title of one of the most hated housemates after she threw a glass of water in fellow contestant Suzie Verrico’s face after she put her up for eviction.

Despite initial criticism of their relationship, which many said was just for the cameras, they carried on dating after the show had finished, and got engaged four months later.

“We got engaged after four months, which may sound quick but we got to know each other so fast on the show, so it felt right for us. But we've taken our time ever since - I only want to do this once, so I want it to be perfect,” Grace told local Plymouth newspaper The Herald at the time.

They tied the knot in Plymouth in 2009, and are the proud parents of four gorgeous children - Georgiana, 10, Spencer, six, Allegra, three, and son Atticus, who was born in January.

Since Big Brother, the couple have moved out of the spotlight and instead are focusing on their own businesses.

Former dance teacher Grace runs a dance school and set up performing schools across the country, and recently sold her firm for millions.

While Liverpool-born Mikey owns an advertising company, and the couple are also property developers.

Despite getting hitched in Plymouth, Grace and Mikey settled down in Merseyside, and share updates on their home on social media.

The 36-year-old ex-teacher, who hails from Plymouth, previously spoke about her past as a reality star, and said it was “the worst thing”.

“I just have to act like the professional principal,” she said, revealing that her students poked fun at her Big Brother fame.

“It's the worst thing when you’re trying to be respectable. It’s like having your gap year filmed and everyone watched it,” Grace added.
