Big Brother's Chanelle Hayes shows off nine stone weight loss in bikini after surgery

Big Brother star Chanelle Hayes looked stunning as she showed off her incredible weight loss in a tiny bikini.

The TV personality previously weighed more than 17 stone and underwent gastric sleeve surgery in August 2020.

She was pictured enjoying the beach and soaking up the sun in Tenerife, Spain, while rocking a pink and orange bikini set.

Chanelle looked carefree as she padded down the beach with her hair tied up into a ponytail along with no make-up.

One snap showed the 35-year-old star laying on a lounge chair on her stomach while she texted on her phone.

The brunette beauty quickly lost weight after she underwent a gastric sleeve operation during the summer of 2020 - which saw her drop from a size 18 to a size 10.

She clarified that the operation was a 'last resort' as she struggled with her weight for years on end.

Following her gastric sleeve operation, Chanelle said that she was in the best shape of her life and that it helped curb her 'addiction' to binge eating.

After finally getting her weight under control, Chanelle was recently faced with more heartache when she was diagnosed with M.E after losing nine stone.

Chanelle's condition went undiagnosed for many years because of her obesity and, now that she lost weight, has been left in agony.

She previously said she feels like her 'bones are going to explode' as she suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome.

As a result, Chanelle had to give up drinking alcohol and going to the gym due to her extreme exhaustion.

She told The Sun : "I always put my symptoms down to being so obese.

"I thought 'I'm overweight, it's my own fault, no wonder I'm tired all of the time and no wonder my joints are killing me.

"Then as I started to lose weight I felt like the pain was getting worse and worse."

Meanwhile, the star has considered getting a tummy tuck in order to remove the excess skin from her weight loss. She would also like a fuller cleavage before she gets married.

Asked by OK! if she's found the perfect wedding dress style, she replied: "Not yet because I’m getting my boobs done in January, and until then I don’t even want to look at a wedding gown."

She added: "I’m also considering a tummy tuck to get rid of some of the loose skin I’ve developed since losing so much weight."

Most recently, Chanelle shared the heartbreaking news that she is suffering from arthritis.

"Morning, so I've just had a phone call from the doctors regarding the results of an X-ray I had done," Chanelle said.

"And, considering I'm only 35 years old, I've now been diagnosed with arthritis in both hips.

"Bit annoyed to say the least because I feel like it's going to hinder me from doing stuff that I need to do."

She specified that her diagnosis is osteoarthritis, which causes painful and stiff joints.

She went on to ask her fans for help, asking: "Is there anyone else who has been diagnosed with arthritis in their 30s who can send me the light at the end of the tunnel?"
