The Big Brother house is melting down, eviction tensions are peaking and fans are convinced that Holly Young will be next to cop the boot, but insiders say producers are absolutely not letting that happen.
In fact, sneaky sources have told PEDESTRIAN.TV that Big Brother’s production team are determined to keep Holly safe, because losing her now would basically nuke the season’s entertainment value.
Love her, hate her, mute her, whatever your vibe, the 31-year-old WA model has become the main character of this year’s Big Brother. She’s driving storylines, creating conflict, fuelling alliances, irritating the house and keeping viewers yelling at their TVs.
Big Brother producers are determined to keep Holly Young safe from eliminations
One producer-level insider described her as “a chaos engine”, adding: “She gives you three episodes’ worth of content in 45 minutes”.
Losing that, this early? Disastrous.

Social media has already decided she’s one of the more controversial characters of the season (less so than old mate Michael Downs who’s already been given the boot). Reddit threads, Twitter/X, TikTok lives, everyone’s predicting a Holly / Jane elimination as the obvious outcome based on house tension and gameplay.
But multiple insiders are telling us the exact opposite.
“That’s not what production wants,” a source claimed to P.TV. “Holly is too valuable. They’re trying everything they can behind the scenes to steer the edit so she survives.”
One production source alleged producers are in “frantic” mode and the team has been “working overtime” to protect Holly, especially after several recent livestream moments put her in a vulnerable public position.
The big issue? Viewers have short memories but the edit decides who’s seen as messy, funny, bullied, villainous, sympathetic or chaotic-good, and Holly is all of those things at once, depending on the night.
The source also claimed that behind the scenes, producers are shifting the narrative, dialling up different story beats and rebalancing the cut “to soften her fall with the audience before the vote” — nope, the show isn’t ~entirely~ live. More on that HERE.
Back to Holly: the fact of the matter is that Big Brother is built on characters and Holly is the tentpole.
Every season has one housemate who carries the weight of the entire storyline — this year, it’s Holly.

A source put it bluntly: “If Holly goes, producers lose a third of their season arc. She’s the linchpin.”
And with ratings, livestream drama and online chatter all peaking, production simply can’t let a key content machine walk out mid-season.
So love her or not, looks like Holly is here to stay!
